G&E Partners are collaborating with a reputable general contractor who operate throughout Illinois and surrounding states. We're seeking a motivated Project Manager to join their ranks in Chicago to battle their backlog of heavy highway, site development and utility projects.
The Position:
- Overseeing and expediting multiple projects at any one time.
- Delegate teams to ensure timely and reliable project completion.
- Liaison with clients to ensure exact specifications within a project are met.
- Manage and supervise budget controls, CPM and project schedules,
- Proactively address any issues that may arise during a project.
- Conduct occasional field inspections.
- Authorize and approve all project transactions.
- Communicate with Upper management and senior leadership team.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in construction management, civil engineering or similar fields.
- Experience with Heavy civil construction projects - Highways, roads and asphalt projects, etc.
- 5 years of Project management experience within the heavy civil construction industry.
- Familiar with managing schedules and budget controls.
- Estimating experience preferred.
